It was great to get back at it last night in Ballygalget taking spin and kettlebells after a stint of the flu. Back to Pilates this Thursday night. It’s been a busy spell these past few months, working in the gym and sports massage! Thank you to all clients who have been booking in and continue to, it’s much appreciated!

I have been busy running classes in the Caman Fitness Suite including Spin, small group weights classes, introduction to weights classes and now Pilates!

Looking to blast your arms at the end of a workout quickly? Superset, triset or giantset these exercises. 3 sets x 8-15 reps
Biceps and forearms:
Hammer curls
Bicep curls
Reverse grip curls
Waiter curls
Triceps:
Skull crushers
Tricep pushdowns (can be done with a band)
Tricep extensions
Tricep dips
Supersets- pick any 2 of these exercises
Trisets- pick any 3 of these exercises
Giantsets- pick any 4 of these exercises.
*Complete a full set of each exercise before resting*
These different training methods don’t involve picking random exercises and doing them one after the other. The muscles being worked must either by the same or the opposite of what is being worked (agonist and antagonist muscles) another example of this is quads vs hamstrings.
Putting together a squat and and bicep curl doesn’t represent a true superset!
Your arms will be burning at the end of your session 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
