🌳I had a fabulous weekend as part of the Northern Ireland Forest School Association team that took part in this year’s Field Studies Ireland outdoor symposium. If you are interested in Bushcraft, love the outdoors etc definitely keep an eye out for upcoming events.

Wild Tribe Saturday Club! On Saturday we made some fun little acorn people. This wasn’t the activity that was planned, but when the children were so excited to find acorns laying around we decided to go with the flow and see what we could create. Don’t they just look amazing!

Following the sad news on the passing of Queen Elizabeth ll, as a mark of respect tomorrow’s Wild Tribe will now be cancelled as we enter a period of national mourning.
Emails have been sent to parents of children due to attend tomorrow’s session.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll. Our deepest condolences to the Royal family at this sad time. The Queen was a great advocate for outdoor learning and nature and had visited forest schools in Scotland and England.

What a fantastic Wild Tribe Saturday we had today!
Today Valentine and Chris from Veesbees paid us a visit to teach us all about the importance of bees 🐝 we got to see the special beekeeper suits, found out how a smoker works and tasted some amazing honey straight from the beehive.
