Today, the Mossley Primary School community says a heartfelt thank you to our Principal, Mr Stephen Mulligan, as he retires after more than three decades of faithful and dedicated service.
Throughout his years of leadership, Mr Mulligan has been a constant source of wisdom, integrity, and unwavering commitment. His dedication, consistency, attention to detail, and relentless focus on the wellbeing and success of every child have shaped not only our school but also the lives of countless pupils, families, and colleagues.
Mr Mulligan's influence extends far beyond the school gates. As both a school leader and a respected community leader, he has worked tirelessly to create a school where children are encouraged to flourish, families are valued, and the wider Newtownabbey community is strengthened through education, care, and opportunity.
One of the defining characteristics of his leadership has been his steadfast commitment to the Christian ethos of Mossley Primary School. Through courage, conviction, and genuine faith, he has nurtured a school where Christian values are not simply taught but lived out each day in kindness, respect, service, and love for one another.
The legacy Mr Mulligan leaves behind is not found only in the buildings or achievements of the school, but in the generations of young people whose lives have been enriched by his vision and leadership.
From everyone at Mossley Primary School, thank you, Mr Mulligan, for your remarkable service, your faithful leadership, and the lasting difference you have made. We wish you God's richest blessing, good health, and much happiness in your retirement.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." β Matthew 25:23
