Welcome aboard the Library Bus! 🚌📚
Today some of our P4 pupils stepped aboard the Library Bus for their very first time! There was great excitement as they explored the book shelves and learned how the library works.They have borrowed some books which we know they will love reading. Thank you to Seamus our librarian and to Libraries NI for facilitating this service for our pupils.

We have been asked to share
🎉 Get ready to dance your way back to school! 📚🪩

​This isn’t just any disco; it’s OUR Community Schools’ Disco, and that means the invitation is open to EVERYONE in the target year groups across the entire community! No matter which local school you attend, we want to see you there! 🤝💖

​We are hosting two sessions split by age group so everyone has a blast:

​🥳 SESSION 1: P1–P4

⏰ 5:15 PM – 6:15 PM

​😎 SESSION 2: P5–P7

⏰ 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM

​📅 WHEN: Friday 4th September

Afterschool Gardening Club-
Our gardeners participated in the Grow Your Own Potatoes project last term. The project began back in February when they observed the potatoes chitting, getting ready for planting on the 10th March. Our gardeners looked after the potatoes during their growing season, taking them inside from the cold frost and moving them into some shade when we had beautiful sunny dry weather. They watched how they grew and covered them with more soil when required. Harvesting happened on the 16th June with a total weight of 3.05kgs of potatoes. Mrs Gren cooked the potatoes and made some lovely buttery mashed potatoes, which we are happy to say tasted amazing! 🥔🥔🥔
