🚀 Exploring Engineering Opportunities at Bristol University! 🚀

Today, the Advanced STEM Tuition team visited University of Bristol to research engineering degree opportunities for our current A Level STEM students.

The visit provided valuable insights into:
🔹 Engineering course content and specialisations
🔹 Entry requirements and admissions expectations
🔹 Industry placement opportunities
🔹 Graduate career prospects and pathways into industry

It was fascinating to learn more about how the university prepares students for careers in a wide range of engineering sectors, combining strong academic foundations with practical industry experience.

On a personal note, it was particularly enjoyable to return to my old PhD university and see how much it has to offer today's aspiring engineers. The visit has given us a wealth of information that will help us guide our A Level students as they consider their undergraduate options and future careers.

A very interesting and productive day, and we look forward to sharing what we've learned with our students and supporting them on their journey into higher education and engineering careers.

Yesterday's GCSE maths and further maths revision camps were another great success.

The students were on fire and not because of the heat! Great focus all round with calculator paper 2 topic focus in the first session: 3D trig, sine rule, cosine rule, volume and surface area.

Session two focused on further maths non-calculator covering index equations, trig identities, optimisation and matrices.

Yes it was hot, but their focus and determination were truly impressive. Good luck next week!

Maths Tutor Cornwall - Advanced STEM Tuition Experienced Maths tutor in Cornwall offering tailored online and in-person Maths and Physics tuition to help students succeed.

A great day of focus throughout the exam camps today. GCSE higher maths in the morning working on a variety of exam topics from grade 6 upwards followed by an afternoon of GCSE further maths focusing on binomial expansion and trig identities.
