On Friday the 7th of February, schools and workplaces across the Island are taking part in ‘Wear What Makes You Happy’ day, raising money to help support Arlo, an Island teenager with a rare brain tumour. Unfortunately due to the nature of our work we’re unable to actively participate and wear what makes us happy to work due to health and safety reasons, however all Island businesses that can should get behind Arlo’s cause and stage their own ‘Wear What Makes You Happy’ day on Friday the 7th of February and help raise money towards Arlo’s treatment. The Island is such a tightknit community and together we can help him reach his fundraising target.
Businesses wanting to take part can email [email protected] so that you can be included on their list of businesses taking part. The Justgiving page is linked below too ❤️

We hope you are all having a fabulous summer now the sun has finally decided to come out. This year is a pretty big celebration for us as Island Environmental Hygiene Ltd is turning 30. Thank you so much to all our loyal customers and staff we’ve had over the last 30 years, many of whom we’ve had from the very beginning and are still with us now.
A big shout out to Peter Osborne too who started the business 30 years ago and who is still just as involved 30 years later. Whilst he might no longer be out servicing clients at 4am every morning, he still lives and breathes this company and without his vision and hardwork we wouldn’t be where we are today.
Here’s to 30 years of servicing the Island and to many more years ahead 🥂🍾🎉🥳🎊🎈🪅
