Gosh It's been a while... Such a busy year, and before you know it, it's the summer holidays again.,

Thank you to all the parents and students who have studied with us this year (I go by academic years). Every single one of you has shown resilience, perseverance and determination and your progress is a clear indicator of this so WELL DONE.

Those of you expecting exam results - whether you have studied with us or not - I wish you all the very best and hope you achieve the results you deserve.

As we move into a new school year, some things have changed. Although we strive to offer face to face tutoring across South Wales, we are finding that many tutors are solely delivering online due to the increased time and cost associated with the travelling which takes away valuable teaching time in the evenings.
In order to maximise the available slots on the timetable most of our lessons will be online in the new school year however please contact us with your requirements and we will do what we can.

Details of new courses and workshops will be released soon (what we have been working on this year and the reason we have been rather absent on social media!) so do keep your eyes peeled - especially if your child is in Secondary school and 6th Form!!

I had a conversation today with a parent about their child's lunch box and the strict restrictions their particular school put in place. Low and behold this popped up on my feed within 2 hours 😅

Got me thinking...

As a parent you want the best for your child obviously, but there are many factors (the obvious being time and budget). But also there are cultural differences, dietary requirements and of course allergies which extend to other children's meals.

Is it OK for a school to ban all nut related products across the whole school because one child has a nut allergy for example?

What do you pack for your child's lunches and why? No judgement, answer anonymously if you prefer, but this study was based on just 800 parents. Where? What average income? What other mitigating circumstances?

Very interested to get your input, thoughts and experiences on this.
