Lynsey Walters Jewellery Lynsey studied printed textiles at Edinburgh College of Art, & went on from there to the RCA to stud

I design and make wearable wool jewellery and hair accessories inspired by my vintage collections and a quirky sense of humour. The jewellery is based loosely on an imaginary garden crossed with a delicious haberdashery shop. The work is strongly coloured and has a delightful nostalgic charm. I have been in business for 21 years since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2000 where I studie

d Constructed textiles. I had previously gained a BA(Hons) from Edinburgh College of Art in Printed Textiles. I decided to wing it and have a go at setting up on my own after Tricia Guild of ‘Designers Guild’ bought one of my pieces at the RCA show giving a boost to my confidence!

I think this is my third time at this event and the last 2 have been great fun.
It’s one of the few shows I don’t attend solo as my lovely sister in law drives us there, attends some classes and brings me tea!
It’s such a treat having a helper!
