Your Sunday reminder... Please name EVERYTHING!

This week we had a number of brand new school jumpers handed in to the school office without names!

Please can you make sure your child's jumper, water bottle, lunch box, shoes, PE shoes, coat etc... are all clearly named. This means when they go missing we will be able to return them to your child.

I can’t help but think we might have a new annual end of the year tradition on our hands. This morning the whole school gathered on the field to watch 20 adults take part in an obstacle course dressed in inflatable costumes!

We had everything from bumble bees to sharks (and a dinosaur or two)!

After a successful graduation this morning, the year 6s have taken over the school (as part of their takeover afternoon) and as you can see, things are going "interestingly".

What a fantastic way to end our crime and punishment topic with a visit from Past productions. We got the opportunity to handle genuine devices of torture and had a go at role playing different scenarios from the Medieval period!

The School Council celebrated their achievements this year by holding a special tree party with their families! The children shared their wild writing poems and decorated some trees!

Portfields Primary School Carnival Entry 2026. Due to the sustainability theme, we decided to enter a walking float this year. All the children did an amazing job despite the heat and walked the whole way round. A big thank you to Mrs Rose-Stanley for organising another brilliant year! Thanks goes to Mrs Marshall, Mrs Henderson, Mrs Folkard and all the parents and children. We placed in 4 of the categories!
