🌻 Little Artists Inspired by Van Gogh! 🎨

At Sensory Nest, we believe that creativity has no age limit. Today, our little learners explored the beautiful artwork of Vincent van Gogh, taking inspiration from his famous Sunflowers. 🌻

Using paint, real sunflowers, and a variety of creative materials, the children created their own unique masterpieces while developing their fine motor skills, creativity, and imagination. Every piece of artwork was as unique and special as the child who made it. 💛

This was much more than an art activity—it was an opportunity to explore colours, textures, nature, and self-expression through hands-on learning and play.

At Sensory Nest, we encourage children to learn through creativity, exploration, and joyful experiences every day. ✨

🚀🌙 Moon Day at Sensory Nest!

Together, we painted our very own rocket, giving the children the freedom to create, experiment and express their ideas. Unrestricted creativity and the joy of creating together are at the heart of everything we do. 💫

Activities in the Toddler Group 👩‍🚀🔭☄️🌖

This week our little ones had the chance to explore the exciting world of space! We enjoyed sensory play with space-themed homemade Play-Doh and coloured rice, encouraging creativity and hands-on learning.

We also read the story „Zoom to the Moon” 🌓 and learned and sang a fun space song together 🎵

It was a wonderful day full of learning, imagination, and smiles! 💜

Lavender Tuesday at Preschool 💜

June is definitely the month of lavender!
Today, our children explored the wonderful scent of lavender, created beautiful lavender paintings 🎨 and made homemade lavender playdough 💜

It was a wonderful day full of creativity, fun, and sensory learning! 💜🫟🌸

📚🧸 Community Fundraising at Sensory Nest📚

Over the coming weeks, we will be holding regular fundraising sales outside the Sensory Nest gate, offering donated children’s books and toys at affordable prices.

For just £1, you can take home 4 items while helping us raise funds for our charity project supporting children in Uganda. Every penny raised will go towards providing mattresses and improving living conditions for children attending the school we support.

We would love for families, friends, and members of our local community to stop by, browse our collection, and support this meaningful cause. You might find a new favourite book, a toy for your little one, and at the same time help make a real difference in a child’s life.
