We have extended our closing date for applications for our Early Educator role, Level 2/3.
The role is full time, 37 hours per week - work pattern on a rota basis between the hours of 8am and 6pm daily, and is a permanent position.

We had our Ofsted inspection on 28th January 2025 and are very pleased to say we have been rated ‘GOOD’ across all areas. I am so proud of my team and how they showed the Ofsted inspector how knowledgeable, dedicated and passionate they are. She was so impressed with the nursery set up and the staff team and she could see the difference we are clearly making to the children and the lives of families. A massive thank you to our team and to our local families and children and to everyone who contributes to making Denton Island Nursery a 'GOOD' nursery!

****PLEASE READ- NURSERY CLOSURE TUESDAY 2nd JULY***
We have been informed late this afternoon by southern water that we will have no water/toilet facilities tomorrow on Denton Island due to emergency water works which means the nursery and community centre will NOT be able to open for children or staff.
We are so sorry for the late notice and for the disruption we know it will ultimately cause all parents.
We have been assured that we will be able to open as normal on Wednesday 3rd July.

We are open as normal today after last nights flooding. The community centre and nursery have been unaffected. Please go careful if driving onto the island as there is debris on the roads.
