Meet the Team.
Meet Katia.
Some of you may recognise Katia from another local nursery, which has recently closed, PEGS.
Katia is a ray of positivity with a zest for life. She has recently qualified as a level 3 early years practitioner and taken the leap working with our Daisies.
From day one, Katia has worked closely to settle and comfort our newer additions and has created tight bonds with the children in the room.
In Katia's spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming and trying delicious foods from around the world.
Fun fact, Katia is Brazilian with Japanese descendants and is now residing in the UK, so you could say, she is worldwide.

The Buttercups and Bluebells have been challenging their fine motor skills a they snip and chop various lengths of spaghetti.
The children have been practising how to grasp scissors correctly, and through the use of vocabulary, identify the size and length of the pasta. For example, long and short, big and small.
Through specific activities, we aim to support the children in discovering their dominant hand and developing their capabilities when holding and operating finer objects and resources.

Playdough fun!
The Daisies have been exploring their fine motor and sensory skills as they've rolled, squished and prodded the playdough.
Within the Daisies room, the staff work endlessly to provide age-appropriate activities to support their little ones' development needs.
Using playdough as a base, the staff encourage key words and phrases to develop communication and language skills. They also encourage physical development as they mirror how to grasp and manoeuvre different tools within play.
The Daisies are always so excited to join in and explore.
