Deliver me timbers

I made this in memory of my dad, I used a chisel he gave me and carved it from oak from an old bar he drank in. The Roman coins on the eyes are for the ferryman.

These hand carved doors have finally been installed at north Tyneside art studio. European Oak, handmade glass and wrought iron.

Super exited to bring my little boy to Flow today! He spent most of his time squashing grapes with a hammer!

Off for my second day in the glass studio, I'm totally rubbish at it!

A very important, very grown up, very exiting contract has been signed today. I fear I'll be in the shed until February...

September is already proving to be a busy month, I'm off to north Tyneside art studio to start a block of woodcarving workshops today, then I'm very excited to get back to FLOW on Wednesday to continue our project with Hadrian school, then it's over to Newcastle university for an experimental archeology workshop, also, the funding has been confirmed for my awesome apprentice to join me for another year!
It's brilliant to have the privilege of working with such a wide range of ages and abilities, it was my dream to be doing this when I started up 5 years ago and I still have to pinch myself from time to time.
I can't wait to see what my visitors will create!
