Hoping for more of this 🤞🏼

Time outside, warmth on our skin, water to splash in

Amelia injured her foot earlier this week and keeping this little water baby away from the one thing she loves most (well beside Elsa Anna and Olaf) has been pretty tricky.

She's on the mend, she learnt a lesson about leaving toys on the floor 🙈 and I learnt a lesson about checking listings more carefully. Turned out a scoop I THOUGHT was plastic, was stainless steel 🙈

Even with a sore foot, she is doing AMAZING with her potty training, so if anyone can recommend a 2 piece UV suit I'd love to get them 🙏🏻

Roll on 4 more weeks of summer fun with our little bestie ❤️

All I can say is, its about bloody time. Anyone else joining me?

♡ ORGANISE YOUR LIFE ♡

Every week I'll be picking 1 item from the list and having a system reboot to fit my life as a Mam, rather than beating myself up about not meeting the unattainable standards I once had time for

If you're not keen on joining via the channel, don't worry! I'm updating my newsletter provider so I can meet you in your inbox and I'll finally be updating my website too 🙈

6 years ago we celebrated our "Almost Married" with a very wet bbq in the garden (because thats all we could do) to celebrate the day that should have been our wedding. I planned 2 more weddings and we did finally get married in 2021 🤣

Its crazy to think what's changed in 6 years. All I know is theres no one else I'd want to do it with

Love you Mr W ❤️

Hello July 😎

June blessed us with Ted's 8th birthday 🐶 which coincidently marked 6 months until Christmas 🤶 yes I know... but if you've followed me a while you know Christmas is a 12 month project. I'll refrain for a little while longer but if you're interested to know more, I've created a channel to keep people updated on hacks and ideas.

I like to round June off with a bit of a reset; check in on my goals, financial check in, deep clean the house. I find temporal landmarking (the fresh start effect) activities really help me to refocus my energy and attention on what matters.

This time around I'm using to take some of the heavy lifting. I've set myself a challenge to use it for 365 days to see what transformations it can make. Work smarter, not harder! I'll give you my prompt and the context I loaded in a blog post soon.

July brings with it the beginning of the UK school holidays, and 6 weeks of juggling entertaining our little whirlwind, with balancing our corporate roles. We've got lots of lovely plans for the summer, and I can't wait to share them all with you along the way

Goals for July:
👧🏼 Enjoy time with Amelia
🐶 No unplanned vet trips with Ted 🤞🏼
🤶 Begin Christmas shopping in the summer sales
🎁 Get organised with birthdays and gifts for the rest of the year
🤓 Study
🏡 Complete a summer deep clean
🚐 Have at least 1 van adventure
✍️ Get back into my rhythm of regular updates

To my best friend, Happy Fathers Day ❤️

Watching you become the Dad you are today has been magical. You handle every moment with strength, patience and love. You were born for this role, and you light up our whole world just by simply being you.

We are blessed to have 2 amazing Dad's as role models, and I hope we make them proud.

And noted... next year there will be chocolate 🙈 cheeky git. Love you 😘

Hello June 🌦

May was so bright; the weather turned, our luck turned and we started to chip away at the carnage that 2026 has brought.

My mental reset was just what I needed and I feel like I'm back with a bang ❤️

25/05/2026

Its grim up north... said no one at 7am at the beach 🤣

Its taken me 3 days to recover from 4 office days in full day workshops. I've averaged 11 hours sleep since Thursday 😬 so when Little Wright woke up at 4.30am, I knew exactly what I needed to do... get up and get moving. We had a lush time, went for petrol and were home before 8.30am

Its so important to listen to your body when you need rest. We've cancelled our plans for today due to the heat and are chilling at home ❤️

Hope you're enjoying the bank holiday weekend 🌞

If 2026 could stop throwing plot twists at me, that’d be great...

Hello May, and goodbye to the absolute chaos that’s been following me around 2026 👋🏻

To give you a flavour of last week alone:
• the shower screen fell off the wall
• the chimney cowl has disappeared into the abyss
• the van broke down

I’m choosing to leave the bad vibes behind and start fresh, so here’s the plan:
1. Write it down & let it go - I’ve written out every bit of chaos from this year and I’m burning it.
2. Fresh start - windows open, house reset (well,as much as a Mam with a toddler can manage), candles on (IYKYK).
3. Make a plan - Back to treating my home like a business. Action plan incoming… and yes, my bestie/personal assistant is involved 🤣

I’ve checked my astrology AND my Chinese zodiac and apparently the vibes are finally in my favour. Thank goodness 🙏🏻

May is a busy month for us with celebrations, so I’m hoping all the lovely moments top up our very depleted cups.

What are you letting go of as we step into May?

If you’re also in a tough season right now, please know:
❤️ You’re not alone
❤️ You’re loved
❤️ You’re enough

Brighter days are coming,
Jo-Anne x

The last 6 weeks have been a rollercoaster; grief, change and everything in between. Real life asking for my full and undivided attention.

Getting caught in a sudden storm on Sunday, plodging home absolutely drenched with a toddler on my hip and seeing this rainbow felt like the reminder I needed that things will get better, and everything will pass. Storms don’t last forever. The sunshine always finds its way through.

"Theres no such thing as bad weather, only bad gear"

Part 3 onwards of my GenAI meal planning series are scripted and ready to record, and I'll be back very soon.

If you’re navigating your own storm, I see you. Brighter days are coming 🌈🌞

Hello April... and good riddens to March.

I'm normally a very positive person, but its been a REALLY challenging sh*tstorm of chaos the last couple of weeks, and I'd probably run out of characters if I tried to summarise it. For a change, I'm really quite lost for words (not sure thats ever happened before 🤣), especially positive ones.

I've felt so grateful for my routines, keeping a steady ship in the choas, as I'm pretty much running on 🍄 (AD) 🍄 .drinks (AD - ) or 👩‍✈️ auto-pilot

One routine in particular I've been eternally grateful for is my GenAI meal planning - if you've been following along, the rest of the series will be up as soon as my camera man (aka Mr W) is well enough to film me, as he's super sick and currently has a chest infection.

Using GenAI (correctly) really takes the mental load out of the decision making, and if you're not using it already (or if you treat it like a search engine) then PLEASE take a few moments to watch the series, which I hope inspires you on how to get started with AI.

Its navigated me through a couple of heavy decisions this month, while I've been too overwhelmed to make an informed choice - and not just with food! The van is running on borrowed time, and its really helped me make a decision on what to do.

Normality will resume soon but at the moment I'm prioritising health, family and taking a little break to appreciate them both 👩🏼‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏽👧🏼🐶

And with that, please enjoy your Easter, spend time with your loved ones and hug everyone a little tighter please, you never know whats around the corner ❤️

Jo-Anne 😘✌️
