Had a fabulous private lesson with Rebekah on Wednesday filming for auditions. I choreographed barre, centre and pointe exercises for her. We filmed the whole class in just two hours!

MY TRAINING
Ballet West Scotland BA:
~ I graduated with a First class BA Honours Degree in Advanced Dance and Performance in 2019. During my time at Ballet West, I travelled to Malaysia where I performed Swan Lake with the Ballet West International Touring Company. I also toured Scotland with full scale ballet productions of Swan Lake, Giselle and The Nutcracker.
~ Over the three years I completed all of my RAD vocational ballet exams up to Advanced Two achieving Distinctions.
~ Under the mentorship of many incredible teachers from all over the world, I was able to understand the ballet technique to a professional level. Besides ballet, I also trained in Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Commercial with industry professionals.
Ballet Cymru 2 Ballet Cymru:
~ After graduating from Ballet West Scotland, I went to study in Newport, South Wales, at Ballet Cymru. It was a great opportunity to bridge the transition from student to professional.
~ The pre professional programme offered me many exciting opportunities to create work with Marcus Jarrell Willis, Jack Phillip and Alex Hallas. Unfortunately due to Covid we were unable to perform in the Spring. I did however have the opportunity to perform Romeo and Juliet with the company.
Dance City MA:
~ In August 2021, I graduated from Dance City's postgraduate touring company, The Collective, with a Masters Distinction in Advanced Dance and Performance.
~ I was under the mentorship of a range of Ballet, Contemporary and Physical Theatre industry professionals. I learnt a range of new skills and techniques with a strong focus on Physical Theatre and Contemporary.
~ I toured works by Alleyne Dance and Mischief Company to Leeds, Newcastle and London. I worked with Southpaw Dance Company to create ‘Reach’. I also performed in an online Immersive Theatre performance directed by Mischief Company and Joe Hufton of November Club.
~ After graduating, I applied for various teaching roles within Dance City. I am now teaching for the Public classes and Engagement department as well as assisting on the Centre for Advanced Training Programme. I have also been performing and researching work with different companies over the last year.
