The classrooms are ready, the pencils are sharpened, the books are waiting… and most importantly, our staff are ready to welcome you!

We know tonight might bring a mixture of excitement, nerves and a few butterflies — whether you’re returning to Ellison or joining our family for the very first time. Whatever you’re feeling, there will be a familiar, friendly face waiting to greet you in the morning.

So, uniforms ready, bags packed, everything labelled and hopefully an early night! 🌙🎒

All that’s missing now is you!

☀️ We hope all of our Ellison families are having a wonderful summer! ⭐️

The start of a brand-new school year is nearly here, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Ellison Primary Academy on Wednesday 2nd September.

⏰ Gates open: 8:35am
🏫 School starts: 8:45am

We’re especially excited to welcome all of the children and families who will be joining the Ellison family for the very first time.❤️

Over the last few days of the holidays, it can be helpful to start getting back into familiar routines — earlier bedtimes, a little reading, getting uniform ready and beginning to talk positively about the return to school.

We can’t wait to see you all! 😊

As we come to the end of another fantastic school year, we would like to say a huge thank you to every member of our amazing Ellison team. Their hard work, dedication and care make such a difference to our children every single day.

We would also like to thank our wonderful parents, families and wider community for being such an important part of the Ellison family. Your support, kindness and partnernship throughout the year have meant so much and help make our school the special place it is.

We wish our entire Ellison family a happy, relaxing and well-deserved summer break. 🌞🕶️Stay safe, make lots of wonderful memories, and we look forward to welcoming you all back for the Autumn Term.

It's now the end of term and the summer holidays have arrived. However, the last few weeks have been full of learning in DT, Science and other curriculum areas. We wish you all a safe and relaxing holiday and we look forward to seeing you in the Autumn term.

Today isn't just a milestone for our Year 6 children – it's one for their families too. 💙

To our Year 6 parents and carers... you did it.
Thank you for every school run, packed lunch, reading book, costume, permission slip, word of encouragement and reassuring hug. Thank you for trusting us with your children and allowing us to be part of their primary school journey.

We hope today is filled with pride, happy tears and wonderful memories as you celebrate this special moment together.

🍕💙 A special last-day treat for our amazing Year 6 children!

To celebrate the end of their time at Ellison, our Year 6 children enjoyed some pizza together on their final day.

They have been a fantastic year group, and we are so proud of everything they have achieved and the wonderful young people they have become.

We wish every one of them the very best as they begin their next adventure. You'll always be part of the Ellison family. 🌟

🎉 Our Year 6 LeaversFest was a fantastic success!

The children and staff enjoyed an evening of dancing, games, ice cream and lots of fun together as we celebrated the end of primary school.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the evening such a memorable one.

Yesterday afternoon our Year 6 came together with their families after our leavers’ assembly. It was a wonderful opportunity to share memories together and reflect on the children’s Ellison journeys. 🎈🧁🎉
