Let's play…music!
You don't need musical instruments to play music (though if you do have some, great!)
Here at Toddler Sense we are huge advocates of incorporating nursery rhymes into everyday play. This is because this type of musical activity supports your child's development in many ways.
These include:
-learning new words and building vocabulary
-developing listening skills and feeling the rhythm and beat of a particular rhyme
-mirroring actions such as clapping, patting and stamping
-maintaining attention & concentration
-Recognising different melodies
-Establishing a sense of order (mathematical reasoning)
In addition to all of these benefits, nursery rhymes are appealing to children; that's why they've been passed down from generation to generation and are still popular.

We’ll be starting to talk the c******** word in class soon - I would never be able to do this - how long could you make it last?

Our Toddlers have had great fun with Big Tod over the last 4 days sailing the seven seas as Pirates - please share any photos of your little one on their Pirate Adventure.

Just a gentle reminder that the clocks change tonight! Although, let's look at the positives, if you have an early riser in your house, then it will be an hour later than usual in the morning! 😂

A year ago today, March 16th we closed the doors of Toddler Sense Stoke due to the pandemic and at that time, we all thought it wouldn’t be that long before we could return to classes. However, it turns out that 1 year on, we are still in lockdown and have only been able to run 6 weeks of Toddler Sense classes in the last year.
What a year.... We just want to thank everyone that’s supported our business, been patient, sent kind words and joined us when able. Your support to help keep the business afloat means the world.
There now feels like there’s light at the end of the tunnel, fingers crossed we’ll see each other again in April.
Stay safe and thank you
Jayne and Vicky 🌈💙💛💚
