What a fabulous morning Epidii have had!
Meet our new additions in egg form! 🥚
Mary gave all the class the lowdown on how to look after our unhatched chicks!
They have learnt so much already!
Did you know? The Egyptians used slaves to keep fertilised eggs at body temperature by putting them under their armpits for 21 days!
Epidii's eggs also need to be at 37.5°C for 21 days. Their due date is Monday 22nd June if they have been fertilised 🐣Mary has given Epidii a candler light to place each egg on, which they can use to check for an embryo inside.
The children can't wait to use their enquiry skills to observe the eggs over the next few weeks!!
