A new beginning ✨ Two weeks ago (the same week that marked 6 months since losing Mum) we completed on our new home. Endings and beginnings. Grief and joy. Dark and light. ALL the emotions!

It’s been a magical first week, welcome cards and freshly baked cookies from neighbours, picking our own home grown berries, immersing ourselves in the nature that we’re now surrounded by. Seeing the cats living their best lives 🥰

Mum has definitely been with me, I can feel her smiling and happy that we’re here. This house has been intertwined with her loss. I asked her to help us make it happen and she did ✨🪽and we did ❤️

Now it’s time for a new chapter, new ideas and a strong pull to reconnect with the lovely community here. It time and I’m excited!

EVERYTHING YOU'VE EVER WANTED IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF DISCOMFORT

Hey Loves!

Here’s a pic of the beautiful paradise island I visited on holiday ➡️ and here’s us at the start of the 5 hour speed boat ferry we had to take to get there (plus the 1 hour taxi journey and the 1 hour waiting at the port). SEVEN hours to get to paradise!! ➡️ and here we are on the other side.. smiling and happy!!

Was it worth it? YES. Was it easy? NO 😅 but it was much easier than my mind told me it would be.

Here’s the thing, we mistakenly thought we could get there in 2.5 hours so we booked the accommodation and as our holiday approached my partner booked the ferry tickets. We committed! Had we really understood the extent of that journey we may well have changed our plans and missed out on a truly magical experience. Our minds telling us it would be too hard and not worth it.

How often does this happen in life?

💔 You’re single and want to meet your soulmate but the thought of creating a dating profile and meeting new people feels too overwhelming, so you don’t.

💔 You’re in a relationship that makes you unhappy but the thought of being single and starting again is too scary, so you stay.

💔 You hate your job but the thought of writing your CV and having to go to interviews is too much so you carry on day after day feeling unfulfilled.

💔 You want to start your own business but your mind tells you it’s too risky and you’ll fail anyway so you don’t follow your passion.

💔 You feel unhealthy and lack energy but the idea of going to the gym is awful so you carry on as you are, unhappy in your own skin and lacking confidence.

💔 You feel stuck in your life not understanding why it’s feeling hard but don’t want to spend money on coaching or therapy so you stay feeling stuck and unhappy.

Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of discomfort and fear. The island paradise, the soulmate, the business, the healthy body, the inspired mind, the new experiences.

The discomfort that your mind tells you you have to go through is never as bad as you think and actually you’re strong enough to deal with it if it was.

If we'd had bad weather on that ferry and a worse experience we still would have made it to paradise because we were moving forwards. Every minute, a minute closer.

That’s the key. Every step you take to your desires is a step closer. You WILL get there.

Hey Loves! Happy Samhain 🍁A time for change and transformation, slowing down and releasing all that no longer serves you.

Here’s a little snapshot of life over the last few months. It’s been a time of resetting. Life has dealt some tough blows, there’s been loss, grief, change, rebirth and celebration. All of life’s rich tapestry!

Its given me time to reflect and focus on how and where I want to show up. I’ve had an intuitive nudge for some time that I wanted to make longer form content so I finally took the leap and you can now find me on YouTube!

I hear and read “step into your power” so often and have caught myself saying it too.

But words matter. By telling myself I needed to “step into” something I was telling the universe I didn’t have it, wasn’t it. It put me in the energy of lack and want.

We create and manifest from our energy, thoughts and feelings that’s why it’s so important to remember you are powerful and you are IN your power right now. You don’t need to step into it, you need to ACTIVATE it.

If you catch yourself saying this or are feeling less than, anxious or full of self doubt then it’s time to activate your power.

Here are some power affirmations that will help 💫

Let me tell you about a time my life was imploding…
➡️ for the happy ending ✨

Years ago I was in a relationship that was falling apart but I was clinging on in there. Determined to make it work because I was in my mid 30’s and could NOT face the reality of being single.. again. My unhealthy relationship where I was gaslighted, not prioritised, that was causing me so much pain was better than being single.

There is NOTHING wrong with being single, but I had limiting beliefs that I’d never meet anyone else, time was running out, I’d be judged for being single in my late 30’s. So I stayed & it got worse & I went through one the hardest emotionally turbulent years of my life.

But here’s the thing, in the midst of the pain & drama my then boyfriend & I talked about the possibility of us moving to Australia (I know, madness). And because I’d lived there before, I was able to send our CV’s to an old contact although I fully believed it was IMPOSSIBLE for me. The Visa rules had changed, he might get sponsored but I definitely wouldn’t.

I forgot about it & got on with trying to make the imploding relationship work.

Until months later I received an email from a tech start-up, they’d been sent my CV & wanted to interview me.

And I knew in THAT moment that I was going to get the job & move to Australia.

And that’s exactly what happened. It only hit me writing this that I got a dream career move & sponsorship to move to Australia without even applying for a job!! That’s the power of surrender & key to manifesting.

Out of that very dark time came one of the most incredible experiences of my life that propelled me to where I am today, with my own business & a wonderful partner (but that’s another story!)

So please trust that the universe really IS working for you & sometimes you have to go through hard situations that seem like madness only for it all to make sense further down the line when you’re in a completely new reality.

YOU are limitless & the impossible is possible!
