Lil’ Laydie of the session tonight ⚽️👏🏼

Well done to Nev tonight 🔥 absolutely brilliant from start to finish this evening. A big turnout with players of all ages and sizes, and Nev was class throughout and stood out 🙌🏼

One of the smallest players in the group, but makes up for it with pure tenacity 💪🏼 she was throwing herself into every challenge with girls much bigger than her and also was playing some great little give and gos all over the pitch 🔥

TUESDAY’s Lil’ Laydies of the session! ⚽️🔥

Dev Squad: Elsie 👏🏼
A brilliant session with lots of hard work and effort put in. She showed really good dribbling skills and passing accuracy. Communicated really well and then put it altogether to play really well in the end match 🔥

U12 Players: Libbyella 💪🏼
After her player of the match on Sunday, she came in this evening with a superb attitude. Her dribbling was brilliant and she made so many accurate passes to others. She then worked really hard in the match at the end and scored some great goals 🔥

Well done both of you, superb tonight ⭐️

Well done to Liv and Libbyella ⚽️👏🏼

The opposition voted Libbyella as the player of the match this morning 💪🏼 once again, good running, getting in behind the defence and making it really difficult for the opposition defenders. Scoring two really well taken goals also 🔥

Liv was voted as our player of the match 👏🏼 on her Lil’ Laydies debut, she was unreal. Bossed the midfield and was everywhere, covering every blade of grass and making tackle after tackle. Showed great composure starting attacks also 🤩

Well done the pair of you, brilliant effort ⭐️

What an absolutely outstanding performance from our LIL’ LAYDIES this morning ⚽️💖

Every single one of our girls went onto that pitch with unbelievable attitude, passion and an unstoppable drive. We didn’t let our standards drop today and put in a stellar performance ⚽️💖

We managed to keep a clean sheet and scored 5 brilliant goals 🔥

Well done to both of these girls tonight 🔥

Working on all things dribbling and close control.
Both players showed really great close control and kept the ball really well in the small areas we set out. Constantly checking there shoulders and kept there heads up to avoid the obstructions 👏🏼

Neither of them lost the ball, and made some great turns and had quick feet to make sure they kept the ball 🤩

Well done the pair of you ⭐️

Happy 11th Birthday to our very own Layla 🥳

The creator of Lil’ Laydies Football ⚽️🩷

She had a dream of playing football and wanted to make her own team. So she came up with the name Lil’ Laydies using her name and her siblings Lillie and Freddie ❤️

She spent hours in her bedroom drawing up logos and kits for the future. She had a vision and that’s where the logo and our iconic pink kit was born 🦁🩷

She then begged me for weeks and weeks to start the group and be the Head Coach which I eventually gave in and did 💪🏼

Over a year later, we have had over 60 girls come and play football with Lil’ Laydies at some point during our time as a club and we are still growing each week 🩷

Today, she had a mini birthday session and was surrounded by her Newark Town Lil’ Laydies teammates who she will play this season with ⚽️🙌🏼

We are beyond proud of her. Her affection for football, her desire and ambition is infectious and she is truly loved by everyone at Lil’ Laydies ❤️

Well done to Amelia and Liv tonight 🔥

Ball mastery, footwork and then some 1v1s were the topics of the night and both of them did very well at all these this evening 🙌🏼

They both worked very hard, and showed great control and technique during the ball mastery. Both of them played really well in the 1v1s using great footwork to get past there opponent and then put everything into the match at the end 🔥

They both smashed it ⭐️

PlayHER 1-1 sessions this evening ⚽️👏🏼

Well done to Avannah, Jolene, Amber and Freya for all putting in so much effort in there sessions 🔥

We did lots of ball mastery, working on first touch, bounce passes, passing and moving and some shooting, learning how to strike the ball properly ⚽️

Great attitude from them all, it’s been a great evening of sessions and looking forward to many more to come 👏🏼
