5 years ago Jamie thought his knees had decided he wasn’t allowed to run anymore.
But arthritis and knee pain don’t always mean you have to stop.
Strength training works because it strengthens the muscles around the joint. Those muscles help support the knee, absorb force and take pressure away from painful areas.
Jamie does one to one sessions and regularly coming to our free client classes. He trusted the process and built his body back up.
Now he’s back running 10k.
Strong muscles protect joints.
If you’re struggling with arthritis, painful knees, shoulder, stiff hips or lower back pain taking it easy is often the opposite of what you need.
More often than not, arthritic joints need stronger muscles around them to help support and protect them.
We’ve been helping people for over 15 years and are fully qualified to work with arthritis and many other long-term health conditions. We also work alongside the NHS and have a fantastic support team and community around us.
If you’re worried about your joints or feel like life is getting smaller because of pain, just send me a message or WhatsApp me on 07539 790470. Happy to have a chat and point you in the right direction.
Proud of you, mate. 👏❤️
