Anyone who is missing playing an instrument is more than welcome to join us for band practice. Monday nights. Intermediate players start at 6.30pm at Clipstone Social Club. Don't have a brass instrument? No matter. We can loan you one. Tuiton is free.Just get in touch. Sherwood Forest Brass has a website and a page.

Hello. Its been a long time since my last post. I was wondering if you are doing refreshments for the Christmas showcase? If so, do you need any help, if not, you'll need the key to the refreshment cupboard. Those supplies ought to be used before any new is acquired. Do you want any baking done etc...?

Our little Ensemble meeting for the 2nd this term. We have enjoyed practicing. Christmas isn't quite the same without some carol's. Merry Christmas everyone.

The Cartwright's and Ashley's are back at it with our Brass band. Social distancing but so good to be back as a group. As I understand it no wind or brass instruments are to be played during school band so we are keeping the children ticking over until the government allows them back.

This will be the last post from the Ashley/ Cartwright trio for the time being. We have practiced our weekly challenges and although not perfect, we have enjoyed and improved quite a lot over lockdown and the summer holidays. As our brass band is struggling to get a proper practice together due to restrictions and no brass instruments to be practiced during school band, we may well record some Christmas tunes nearer the time to try and lift spirts. Thank you for listening
