A+ Tuition Centre is seeking a passionate and experienced Creative Writing Tutor to join our growing team. We specialise in preparing students for the 11+ and independent school entrance exams, and we are looking for someone who can inspire young learners and help them develop strong writing skills.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience teaching creative writing to primary school students (Years 4–6)

Be confident teaching story writing, descriptive writing, and persuasive writing

Be able to help students develop vocabulary, imagination, structure, and style

Understand the requirements of 11+ and independent school entrance exams

Be engaging, enthusiastic, and able to motivate students

Have strong grammar and vocabulary knowledge

Be reliable, organised, and professional

Responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering engaging creative writing lessons

Helping students improve ideas, structure, vocabulary, and sentence variety

Providing constructive feedback on students' written work

Supporting students in preparing for creative writing sections of entrance exams

Location: New Malden
Position: Part-time (weekends and/or evenings)
Start date: To be confirmed

A DBS is required.
