We are a tutoring company based in Dudley, teaching exam focused tuition to GCSE students in Maths, English and Science.

As an approved National Tutoring Programme provider we provide small group Covid catch-up tuition to pupils in Dudley.

Those who know me won’t be surprised that I just have to recognise National Dog Day! 💜
Freddie and Hetty and their antics are often discussed in our classes. They really are our little Conexus mascots and are very much adored!
Here they are showing off their beauty… although I’m not sure they’re quite as well behaved as they look!

We couldn't let National Thank a Teacher Day pass without saying a huge thank you to all of the incredible teachers out there. 💜
Of course, our amazing tutoring team are top of my list. Their dedication and commitment to the children they support is something I'm incredibly proud of.
Today also gives me the chance to thank the fantastic teachers I've worked alongside throughout my career, the teachers who have helped shape my own children, and the teachers I continue to work with through my role as a visiting lecturer.
Teaching is so much more than a job, and the impact great teachers have lasts a lifetime.

So, how does a principal director spend a Friday night after a week packed with exam preparation, revision sessions, and helping students tackle tricky questions?
Partying, of course... just in my own way! 🤣
While some people are heading out, you'll find me snuggled up with my dogs with a cuppa in hand, enjoying the peace and quiet.
Not exactly rock and roll, but after a busy week, these little moments of calm are perfect for recharging, finding balance, and getting ready to do it all again next week.
I'm sure I'm not the only parent whose idea of a great Friday night has changed over the years! Tell me I'm not alone... what's your perfect Friday evening? ☕🐾

Today marks the start of GCSEs and SATs for so many of our incredible students.

We want to wish each and every one of you the very best of luck. We are so unbelievably proud of the hard work, resilience and determination you have shown in preparing for this moment. The effort you have put in have not gone unnoticed!

Remember to stay calm, believe in yourselves and take each exam one step at a time. You do not need to know everything all at once — just focus on the question in front of you and trust the preparation you have already done.

Most importantly, remember that these exams do not define who you are. You are capable, hardworking and valued far beyond any grade on a piece of paper.

This time of year is always a busy one for us at Conexus Tuition Dudley, and we know it can feel a little overwhelming for some of our students too.
As exams get closer, it’s completely normal for worries to creep in. That’s why keeping things calm, consistent and reassuring is so important. Whether it’s a bank holiday or not, we always make sure we are there to support the children who need it.
Our online sessions really help with that - keeping routines steady and providing a familiar, supportive space to learn, even when the weeks feel a bit busier than usual.
Today has been a lovely balance for me - maths tuition this morning, followed by a beach walk this afternoon.
Supporting your children while still making time for family life is something I care deeply about. Days like today are a gentle reminder of why that balance matters so much 💜

Happy National Pet Day! 🐾
As a huge dog lover, I know our pets are so much more than animals – they’re valued members of the family.
My two keep me active, get me out in the fresh air and love me unconditionally (and with great enthusiasm)… which, as a parent of teens, is not something I experience every day!
It’s always reassuring to know that at least two members of the household are genuinely delighted to see me walk through the door.
Whether they have fur, feathers or scales, our pets bring so much to our lives and deserve to be celebrated.
