12 years of X-Qlusive Dance Company 🖤

I have been so lucky to call this my job for 12 years and watch the company grow.

We currently teach 167 dancers each week with a growing waiting list, I’m so grateful to everyone who has been a part of our family over the years in whatever way that has been.

I have had the privilege of teaching so many children and young people over the 12 years, and watched some grow into adults and onto bigger and better things.

Whoever’s story we were lucky to play a small part in, thank you and to all our current dancers I can’t wait to see what this year will bring.

Tonight is our last class of the year.

Just want to say a massive thank you to all our teachers, coaches and dancers for making this the best job ever, and all the parents and families for allowing us to spend time with your dancers each week.

Summer workshops starts this week.

With guest choreographers that are currently in professional training, lots of summer dance fun for existing and new dancers.

A huge thank you to Councillor Leanne Jones for dropping 60 Easter eggs off to our dancers today as part of the “everyone deserves an Easter 2024” scheme.

X-Q Dance Company are looking for for sponsors for our troupe touring kit.

Our troupe dancers will be going on tour in September as well as taking part in a number of performances and events. We are looking for any local groups/businesses that would be willing to sponsor us and add your logo to our kit to come along on the journey with us.

X-Q is a community dance school that has been running for 10 years we teach over 140 dancers from our local communities and over 50 of those are troupe dancers.

We would appreciate any support including sharing this post for us.

We have been very lucky to secure funding from Pen y Cymoedd Wind Farm Community Fund CIC to purchase new equipment to help improve the training, health and wellbeing for our dancers.

This includes new portable studio mirrors 🥰 we can not wait to expand our technique training and anatomy knowledge by allowing the dancers to see their own bodies in motion.

This is the first funding we have applied for in our 10 years of running and it will be nice to freshen up our classes with the help of this community funding.
