Work Your Way is our new 12-session neuroinclusive employability programme, supporting participants to understand how they work best and turn that understanding into better job matching, stronger applications and more sustainable employment.

LEVEL UP – Day 6: Finding the Hidden Jobs.

Today our learners took their job search beyond the screen and into the real world.

They discovered something important, not every vacancy makes it online. Some employers recruit through recommendations, word of mouth or simply meeting the right person at the right time.

The biggest outcome wasn’t just finding hidden opportunities, it was confidence. Learners approached employers, started conversations and asked about opportunities, something several said they wouldn’t have felt able to do before LEVEL UP.

That’s real progress: turning confidence into action.

FORWARD - A New Programme by FST.

What happens when someone needs greater support, but doesn’t fit neatly into one programme?

Referral partners told us they were supporting people facing real barriers to progression, but often didn’t have enough people from one demographic to form a specialist cohort.

That’s why we created FORWARD, with 10 practical, individualised sessions. Rather than asking people to fit a programme, we build the programme around their starting point, their barriers, their strengths and their next steps.

FST Programme Update – Lone Parents is now Making Work Work!

We’ve listened, reviewed and made a change. Our Lone Parent Programme has evolved into Making Work Work, for Parents & Carers of Children.

Why? Because the barriers the programme addresses aren’t exclusive to lone parents. Same purpose, wider reach., no unnecessary labels.

Childcare, confidence, returning after time away from work, financial concerns, flexibility, employer expectations and balancing work with family life can affect parents and those with caring responsibility for children in many different circumstances.

The programme itself retains the practical, barrier-focused approach our partners expect from FST - but the new identity means referral partners can identify a much wider group of people who could benefit.

If you have participants who are struggling to see how employment can work alongside raising or caring for children, Making Work Work could be their next step.
