What an exciting visit we had from Gladiator Zack “Steel”! Earlier this week ✨

Steel spent time talking to the children all about determination, resilience and believing in yourself. He shared what it takes to become a Gladiator and reminded everyone that hard work, confidence and never giving up can take you a very long way.

The children were absolutely buzzing to meet him! Steel visited each class, answered lots of brilliant questions and even signed autographs, which caused quite a bit of excitement around school.

A huge thank you to Zack for inspiring our children and making the day so memorable. We may now have a few future Gladiators in the making!

And a huge thank you Friends of Highfields School for organising such a treat for the children.

Thank you to FOHS for the special delivery of these KS2 Dyslexia friendly books for the school. These types of books will make a huge difference to the children and we can’t wait to see them being read and enjoyed!

Our new goalposts are already getting plenty of use at break and lunchtime, and it’s fantastic to see so many children getting involved across school. A huge thank you to FOHS for making this possible; your support continues to enrich play and wellbeing for everyone. 💙
