Singing Lessons with Dawn

Singing Lessons with Dawn Dawn McGhee, BEd Hons, LCM Dip (Music Theatre) teaches singing online to all levels. She has taught I teach basic technique that is common to all singing styles.

It includes topics such as posture, breathing, onset and release, resonance, intonation and vocal health. I also teach topics that are specific to a variety of genres such as belting for music theatre, vocal fry in pop and bel canto in Classical. I aim to adapt lessons to the student's level of ability and ambition so the main focus of the lesson might be on songs for exams, competitions, audition

s, performance roles or just singing for pleasure. Whatever your level or interest I will set clear objectives for each lesson.

today was the last time i saw my singing teacher. it’s been an amazing 7 years and mrs mcghee has taught me so much. i really wouldn’t be where i am today without her. i can’t believe i have gone from a shy 11 year old to an eighteen year old going off to study for a ba hons in musical theatre at the univeristy of chichester conservatoire. every single opportunity and role i have received has been due to the training i’ve learnt from her. from performing in the west end to singing a solo at disneyland paris and countless mt exams, i would’nt have been able to do it without mrs mcghee. she’s an inspiration and i’m so grateful for her. thank you so so much
