This morning it was so nice to give something back to Busbys Meadow with the help of a local resident who donated a whole sack of Daffodil bulbs…we have been working hard with the children and parents to plant these out ready for next spring and we have plenty more to plant on Friday.

The children helped to drop them into the holes, collect and transport the bulbs in the barrows and stomp the ground down afterwards. A job well done 👏

Can’t wait to see these shooting up in the spring! 🌼

It brings me so much joy to see how the children progress each week.

What a lovely morning it’s been at Blackthorn today Growing Together Northampton.

We do some conker rolling in paint to create some art, shared stories and identified some of the bird calls.

We heard Crows, sparrows, starlings and a woodpecker, and enjoyed to watch them fly across a cloudy autumn sky.
