Happy Father's day to all you dads!

We may be called The Lisa Project, but my dad is a big part of the work we do. The connection he had with my daughter was so special and became all the more important as his alzheimers got worse. On his saddest days, she would brighten them for him and it was a beautiful thing to see.

He was my inspiration for our intergenerational singing and signing sessions. Seeing the joy it brings our residents connecting with our little visitors from schools and preschools, takes me right back to moments like this photo.

💜 A very proud moment for The Lisa Project 💜
When I started The Lisa Project in memory of my sister Lisa, I could never have imagined the journey it would take us on.
What began with a simple belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard and connected has grown into something truly special.
Through singing, signing and bringing generations together, we've had the privilege of creating meaningful connections, reducing isolation and promoting inclusion within our communities.
We're incredibly grateful to The National Lottery and to National Lottery players for supporting community projects like ours and helping us continue this work.
Most of all, thank you to every school, care home, participant, volunteer and supporter who has been part of our journey so far. This recognition belongs to all of you. 💜

The Lisa Project was created in memory of my Deaf sister, Lisa.

Her life highlighted the importance of communication, inclusion, and ensuring that people who are often overlooked feel seen, heard, and valued.

Today, through singing, signing, and bringing generations together, we create opportunities for connection, understanding, and belonging for people of all ages.

Because everyone deserves to feel included. 💜

We bring people together through singing, signing and shared experiences.

From care homes to schools and preschools, our sessions help build confidence,promote Deaf awareness,support wellbeing, and create meaningful connections across generations.

We're excited to share our journey and the wonderful people we meet along the way. 💜
