A huge thank you to Seb in Year 6, who brought in two of his fascinating ant colonies to share with our KS2 pupils this week! We were lucky enough to see both Harvester ants and Carpenter ants up close, and the children absolutely loved learning about how they live, work and survive. It was a brilliant hands-on experience ; we all learnt so much!
Well done Seb! Such an interesting hobby.

Take a look at some of the fantastic learning taking place in Upper Key Stage 2! 🌟

From collaborative SATs preparation, where children worked together to solve problems, to the fun and excitement of our Maths Working Alongside Morning, our pupils have been busy showcasing their creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm for learning.

We’ve also seen some stunning artwork exploring conflict during our topic, The War on the Revel’s Doorstep; celebrated Coventry’s football promotion; designed amazing front covers for Year 6 autobiographies; admired Year 5’s fabulous giant solar system contribution for Science Week; and explored practical maths through representing 3D shapes on isometric paper.

We are so proud of the hard work, creativity and dedication shown by all of our pupils!

Another wonderful week in KS1! We have had lots of fun learning to identify garden plants and wild plants in science, how to safely search for images in computing and finally we have learned about the story of Jock Forbes and the charred cross in RE. Now time for a well earned rest!
