So Emma, Jess and I donned our glad rags and attended the Leader Education Awards at St David's Hotel on Thursday evening. We still don't know who kindly nominated us but the gesture was truly appreciated. Congratulations to Maes Hyfryd who won the special school category and the head summed it up perfectly, working in 'special' is truly the best job in the world. We came away feeling inspired and reinvigorated- onwards and upwards! Thank you to all of the staff team who forever go above and beyond to make a difference for our learners. But also thank you to all of our learners and their families, you are amazing and without you we would be nothing. We are hoping to be nominated again next year and perhaps in some additional categories. Thank you once again 🥰

Don't know why anyone would use this company - been trying to get a parcel for 10 days. They lie and say they have attempted delivery. What are they ninjas? Our CCTV certainly didn't notice them!
Their customer services reps are less than helpful but probably because they are sick of dealing with irate customers.

This week we have taken time to remember those who have given so much to enable us to live our lives of freedom today. We wrote poems, wrote letters, made poppies and created a wreath that we placed on the cenotaph in Buckley. We even did our own minute of silence to show our respect for all of the brave soldiers.

Today we have started our efforts for 'Walking for Autism' we have been to the park and back. Keep your eyes open for your 'Walk for Autism' fundraising tube which will be coming home for you to add any spare coins.
