Assistant Manager: Alice Double The Nursery opens five days per week 7-45 until 5/6pm

All sessions are structured and planned around every child's individual needs. This is done by observations carried out by the child's key person and recorded in their learning journey. This enables us to plan their next steps. Using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We have a free play session in which children are encouraged to decide for themselves what they want to do and also a spacious, secure area for outdoor play.

Our Daisy Room children have had a great time exploring a 'book of the week' theme this term.
We have looked at 'Dear Zoo', 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar', 'The Scarecrow's Wedding', 'Owl Babies' and will be finishing off the term with 'Leaf Man' and 'Colour Monster'.
After listening to each book they explored different activities inspired by the books, including making a scarecrow, using coloured water to create their own caterpillars and using tweezers to pick up 'worms' to feed to the baby owls. 📖🦉👩🏼‍🌾🐛🦒🍃👾

Our Amazon Wish List

We thought we’d share our Amazon Wish List, as we are often asked what the nursery needs, especially with Christmas not too far away! 🎄

We’ve added a selection of toys, resources and other bits that would be lovely additions to our nursery and enjoyed by the children.

After lots of singing and dancing to ‘Dingle, Dangle Scarecrow’, the Daisy Room children have been introduced to the lovely story ‘The Scarecrow’s Wedding’, which has inspired them to create their very own scarecrow!
We have already gathered some supplies, but we would be very grateful for any donations of clean plastic bags, newspapers or other suitable materials that we could use to help fill our scarecrow’s body with.

✈️🏝️ The Daisy Room children had a fantastic holiday to Daisy Island today! 🌞🌊

After checking in their bags 🧳 and having their passports stamped at Gate 6/7, they boarded their flight ✈️ and enjoyed amazing in-flight entertainment from our wonderful Daisy Airways flight attendants before landing in the beautiful land of Daisy Island. 🏝️🌴

Everyone quickly headed to the beach 🏖️ and enjoyed an amazing picnic kindly supplied by our wonderful parents. 💛

With so much to do at Daisy Island, including jewel makeovers, water play, dancing 💃🕺, party games 🎉 and much more, everyone was soon ready for a delicious ice cream treat 🍦 from the ice cream man!

We have had an absolutely amazing time today, adults and children alike! ❤️😊

We have had a wonderful time watching your children learn, grow and flourish during their time with us. Thank you for choosing us to be a part of their story.
We are so proud of each and every one of them and wish them all the very best as they begin their next exciting adventure. 🎓🌈✨

🌟 Daisy Room Children Farewell Singing Reminder 🌟

Just a little reminder that our Farewell Singing Performance for Daisy Room children, will take place on Tuesday 14th July. 🎶💛

🕑 The singing will start promptly at 2:00pm, so please arrive in good time.

If your child does not normally attend on Tuesdays, we invite them to join us. Please bring them to the nursery by 1:45pm so they have time to settle before the performance begins.

And one last thing... don't forget to bring your tissues! 🥹 Our children have been practising so hard, and we're so excited to share this special moment with you all.

We can't wait to see you there! 💕

Due to extreme temperatures today please could we ask if you have the capability to collect your child early. As much as my wonderful staff try, it’s so hard to keep the mobiles cool. Thank you for your understanding.

Please could you pack your child with swimwear and a towel preferably named over the next few days as they all loved water play today to help keep them cool xx
