AI Voice Scams Are Increasing
Look out for:
• Urgent money requests
• “Keep this quiet”
• Odd behaviour, even if the voice sounds right
Do this:
• Hang up
• Call the real person on a known number.

⚠️ Delivery Scam Alert
This One’s Catching People Out.
A friend of mine was just scammed by a very convincing “delivery problem” text pretending to be Royal Mail / Evri.
The message looked real, the link looked real…
But it stole their card details within seconds.
👉 Important:
Real delivery companies never ask you to pay a small fee or “re-schedule” via a text link.
If you get a message asking you to:
Pay £1–£3
Re-arrange a delivery
Enter card details
Log in to a delivery account
❌ STOP it’s a scam 99% of the time.
If you’re unsure, forward it to me I’ll check it for free.
Stay safe,

⚠️ Overpaying for broadband or constantly dealing with slow WiFi?
Most people I visit are:
• paying for speeds they don’t need
• stuck on the wrong package
• or struggling with poor setup at home
And it’s costing them every month.
I help people locally:
✔ Choose the right broadband (not the most expensive)
✔ Switch providers properly
✔ Set everything up so it actually works
If your internet has been slow, unreliable, or just confusing — it’s probably fixable.

⚠️ Quick Scam Warning
Scammers are now using very convincing messages and even fake voices to impersonate people you trust.
Simple rule:
If something feels urgent — pause and check.
Call the person back on a number you already have before doing anything.
If you’re unsure, I’m always happy to help.

💡 Tech Tip from The Digital Neighbour
Did you know your phone can already help you with everyday tasks using just your voice?
You can say things like:
• “Send a message to John saying I’ll be late.”
• “Remind me to take the bins out at 7pm.”
• “Add milk to my shopping list.”
Most people don’t realise their phone already has these features built in.
Technology should make life easier, not more confusing.
If you ever need help understanding your phone, Wi-Fi or staying safe online, I’m always happy to help.

⚠️ Quick Scam Awareness Tip
Scammers are now using AI deepfakes to copy voices and even faces.
This means someone might receive a phone call or video message that sounds like a friend, family member or company asking for money or urgent help.
Simple tip:
If something feels urgent or unusual, pause and verify. Hang up and contact the person or company directly using a number you already trust.
Technology is changing quickly, but a quick check can stop many scams.
If you ever want help staying safe online or understanding new technology, I’m always happy to help.

🔐 Quick Mobile Security Tip
Turn on Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for important accounts like your email, banking and social media.
It means that even if someone gets your password, they still can’t log in without a second code sent to your phone.
It only takes a couple of minutes to switch on, but it adds a huge extra layer of protection.
If you’re not sure how to set it up, I’m always happy to help.

💡 Tech Tip: Your phone’s AI assistant can save you time
Most modern phones now have built-in AI assistants that can help with everyday tasks using just your voice.
For example you can say things like:
• “Send a message to John saying I’ll be late.”
• “Remind me to call the dentist tomorrow at 9.”
• “Draft an email to the team about the meeting.”
• “Add milk and bread to my shopping list.”
It’s a really simple way to stay organised without constantly typing on your phone.
Many people don’t realise their phone can already do this.
If you’re curious about using tools like this or want help getting the most out of your devices, I’m always happy to help.

Someone I helped recently had been worried for weeks about messages on their phone. Were they scams? Were they real? She wasn't sure who to ask.
We sat down together, went through everything at her pace, made a few simple changes and by the end she was laughing about how straightforward it turned out to be.
If that sounds familiar for you or someone you know in Milton Keynes — I'm Kevin. I come to you, I don't rush, and I explain everything in plain English.
No jargon. No judgement. Just a neighbour who knows about tech.
