A lovely email from a customer with this photo attached. This spiced chutney has been maturing in the fridge for 2 years having been lost on the shelf! What a shelf life it’s had though!
Thank you Claire for getting in touch…hope to meet with you again on Sunday at the Cosgrove Canal Festival and Craft Fair where there will be lots of variety to choose from.

The belief that witches could turn themselves into black cats crossed the Atlantic with the first American settlers and was a firmly-held superstition in New England by the time of the Salem witch hunts.

“When witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, 'tis near Halloween."

Not long now until the annual Craft Fair event. I run this every November and I’m looking forward to introducing some newbies this year! We all have lots of unique hand made items for you to see…Come browse, buy gifts or treat yourself.…
You can even have a character portrait painted and while you wait, perhaps get a henna tattoo. Pop in Sunday and have fun making a Christmas decoration in our mini workshops…
And let’s not forget the food… all homemade cakes and lunches throughout the day…we look forward to seeing you soon x

Another compliment from a happy customer …. This makes the heat of the kitchen all worthwhile!

Wow! I know we’re fans of your Tomato & Red Pepper chutney (great in a cheese toastie) but this is pretty awesome too! Full of beetroot and not too much juice, so worked well in a cheese sandwich as well as a salad side dish. You need to make bigger jars please 🤣

I received this wonderful email from a happy customer today…

I was at the Canal festival this weekend where I purchased a jar of your 'Picalilli with Garlic'. I am a huge fan of the stuff, I could it eat with everything, and I wanted to let you know yours is the best I've ever tasted!. Absolutely delicious, wow!
Thank you so very much, and keep making the stuff......I'll be lucky if my jar makes it to Friday, Rachel.

Spider silk is a wonder material that, weight for weight, is stronger than steel, tougher than Kevlar and can be more elastic than rubber.
