Good luck to all our wonderful Year 6 pupils starting their SATS this week! 🌟

You have worked so hard and we are already incredibly proud of you. Just remember: these tests only measure what you can do on one day, but they don't show how kind, creative, and amazing you are every day.

Take a deep breath, do your best, and remember to have a good breakfast! You’ve got this! 💪📚✨

On 6th May, Oakgrove reached a poignant milestone as we officially bid farewell to our Year 13 students. This date marked the conclusion of a significant chapter in their lives, celebrating the culmination of years of hard work, personal growth and shared experiences within our school community.

The day began in the theatre with a bespoke leavers’ assembly. The atmosphere was a perfect blend of nostalgia and excitement as Mr Row led the proceedings. Alongside words of encouragement and praise, the assembly served as a platform to present awards to those students who have made truly outstanding contributions to school life. Parents will be pleased to hear that the morning was also filled with music and performance, as several students took to the stage to showcase the immense talent that has become a hallmark of this year group.

The celebrations continued beyond the assembly as the students and staff moved to a more informal setting for a farewell lunch. Over pizza and plenty of laughter, the students took the opportunity to share favourite memories and offer thanks to the teachers who have mentored and guided them through their A Level studies. It was a wonderful way to consolidate the strong bonds formed over their years at Oakgrove.

As the Year 13 students now transition into their final examinations, they do so with the full support of the school behind them. The students have demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination to reach this point, and we have every confidence that their hard work will be reflected in their results.

We are incredibly proud of the individuals the students have become. On behalf of all the staff, we wish the students the very best of luck in their exams and look forward to hearing about the bright futures that await them.
