Roughly 25 years ago we all had one thing in common. The Arts Educational Schools Musical Theatre Course on Bath Road in Chiswick. We share memories of Dolly Harmer, Brian Burn, Chris Edwards, Barrie Smith, Ken Barrow, Penny Dyer, David Devan, Laura the voice coach, Tom Wakeley, Innes Troeller, Nina (tap teacher that only ever taught routines from Chorus Line) and of course the legend that is HRH Jackie Bristow. We enjoyed the freedom and excitement of having the world at our feet, yet we feared those three hours of hell on a Friday afternoon that was 'Performance class'
There was the Tabard (Irish Joe behind the bar), Andys Kebab house, Macarthurs Burger Restaurant, Fouberts ,excessive drinking/smoking and other activities that were not so good for our health. Mostly though there was excitement,creativity and the anticipation of the unknown. Great times worth remembering. This page is dedicated to all of us that were there at any time from 1986 to 1989 to keep alive the memories and friendships that made those three years so unique.
