She's great👏🏾 This was LITERALLY me at school. I threw shot put, javelin and discus. There was no one to do hurdles or 300m at an athletics comp and I must have looked like I had nothing to do. I didn't come last in either event but felt like crying after the 300m.😭

I was telling my students about this the other day when we were talking about sports day (they do sing in lessons too, honest) and about showing up for the team and taking part etc. We still like winning and crushing the opposition, but appreciate a team player.
