Glebe Farm School Glebe Farm School is an exciting, brand new all-through school opening in September 2022. The school is due to open in September 2022.

We are very privileged and excited to announce that we have been successful in bidding to open a brand new all-through school based in Glebe Farm, Milton Keynes. Our approach to this all through school will be both innovative and inspiring and have our learners at its heart. We understand the responsibility of opening such a provision and will work very closely with our strategic partner, 5 Dimensions Trust, and other valuable stakeholders, including parents, to provide the best possible education in this vibrant new community. One year of Kickback Kitchen at Glebe Farm School!

Over the last year, we’ve cooked meals for 70 local families. Old favourites like spag bol, curry, and hotpot.

The best feedback we got all year? "They LOVED it. 3 kids including a 1 year old boshed the lot."

Between work, family, and after-school clubs, the end of the day comes around fast. Kickback just means one less job on your plate. At Glebe Farm we cook proper tasty, ready-to-reheat meals locally, and let everyone chip in what they can so everyone eats.

We’ve now cooked over 4,000 meals across Milton Keynes.

We’ve got spaces open this term for Glebe Farm families and school staff.

Help Us, Help Others This Autumn 🍂

As the colder weather approaches, we're proud to support our Winter Warmth Drive and help families in our community stay warm this winter.

Do you have any gently used winter coats, gloves, or hats that your children have outgrown? We would be grateful for your donations.

There's a lot more behind a recipe than ingredients and instructions.

Take Rose's amazing Stroganoff, for example.

It starts with Rose's idea, then gets worked through so it can feed a community as well as it feeds a handful of people. Cooking for a few people is one thing. Cooking for a lot of people and getting the same result every time takes a bit more thought. Quantities, timings and methods all need to hold up when you're cooking at scale.

Before it reaches our kitchens, the scaled recipe gets a trial run at home in smaller quantities. If something needs adjusting, it's better to find that out in a home kitchen than when you're cooking for a room full of people.

Then it heads out to our cooks and chefs. Alongside the recipe is a Chef's Briefing with suggested ingredient swaps. They're not there to reinvent the dish. They're simply there to help chefs make sensible decisions if a particular ingredient isn't available..

And the story doesn't stop after the first cook. The kitchen teams share feedback on what worked well and anything we should keep an eye on next time.

By the time the Stroganoff reaches the table, it's more than a recipe. It's Rose's idea carried along by a whole chain of people who care about good food. Home testers, chefs, kitchen teams and food partners all play their part.

And perhaps that's the nicest thing about it. Long before the Stroganoff brings families together around the dinner table, it's already brought people together to make the meal happen.

Did you know that Thursday 1 October is School Census Day?

This is an important day for schools across the country, as government funding is partly based on the number of children enjoying a school meal on this date.

If your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2, their meal is already provided free through the Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme.

For children in Years 3–6, choosing a school meal on Census Day helps support the funding we receive, which benefits all pupils. Please order your child lunch on this day!

To make the day extra special, our catering team will be serving a fantastic themed menu:

Join us for a special Stir Stars Census Day Lunch on Thursday 1 October! Our catering team will be serving a star-studded menu featuring some favourite lunchtime treats.
