To all females.

This retreat day is run by my friends. Tamara is a black belt in kung fu, neuroscientist, and clinical psychologist. I met Dr Tamara as I had one to one mindfulness training with her.

Her sword scissors retreat day to ignite female power.

You do not need to know any martial arts or have any fitness levels. It will involve moment but no experience necessary.

We are currently looking to bring in some changes at the club to further support our female students training and importantly to engage with many more females and teenage girls who don't currently consider trying martial arts. We know there are lots of you out there, who might never consider coming to a class!

The below slideshow has taken some research statistics from the Womens Health Advocacy group. Adidas 2021 survey and the Women in Sport. which has a fantastic podcast covering the research in more depth, have a listen here:

Hey facebook readers. I have been in hibernation for a while, doing some research, some reading and a WHOLE lot of thinking!

We have found statistics are showing we are still getting big drop outs of school-age girls during adolescence in sport. The facts and figures and a fab podcast can be found via Women in Sport

We would love to do something about this.. so if you don't mind, do keep following us while we figure that out ;-)

I really like the London Buddhist Centre and have joined their online meditation often and visited the centre a few times (and am on retreat with them next month!).

You don't need to be Buddhist to join this, and they usually have two groups, one for beginner one for those with an established practise.(they don't try and make you Buddhist either btw ;)) It's just very insightful and warm meditation guidance and practise

The club is taking a transitional pause...

To see things afresh, to sit in the space of what was and what is to come!

Thank you to all the amazing women (and girls!) in the UK and internationally, who joined me over the last 8 months in martial arts and meditation! The energy from everyone, be it virtual or in person, was wonderful.

I am now allowing my idea's for 2022 to naturally unfold, so I hope to bring these to you soon!

With love and kindness.

Hey everyone!

I am interested to know your experiences with online training - thoughts and feelings.

Would you try martial arts & mediation as a beginner course online for example?

Would be great to find out why yes or no?

Thanks :-)
