Sessions this week!

Monday - Drum lessons at The Palladium

Tuesday - Guitar lessons and Jamming (instead of Monday) at The Beggars

Thursday - Choir rehearsal 7:30pm at The Palladium (we are starting new songs so the perfect time to come along if you are new!)

No lessons for Rebecca this week as she has the flu!

What an incredible evening we have had at The Beggar's Theatre showcasing the work our groups have done this week as part of our rock band workshops.

We showcased our children's band and adults/teens band along with our lovely rock/pop choir who performed some songs they have never performed before.

A huge well done to all performers who took part in our workshops this week and tonight's concert. It has been a busy week full of tie dye band t-shirts, logo designing, songwriting, learning new skills and making new friends across all ages.

Thank you to The Beggar's Theatre for letting Millom Music School take over the theatre this week for our workshops. A massive thank you also goes to PCSO Claire Lillico Copeland Police for helping us secure funding through the David Allen Community Grant. This funding has allowed us to give members of our community the chance to try multiple instruments and perform as part of a group in an encouraging and welcoming environment.

Another amazing day running our Rock Band Workshops!

We can't wait for our showcase concert tomorrow evening!

Today PCSO 5450 called into the Beggars Theatre in Millom to see all those who were taking part in the Rock band workshop which has been supported by the David Allen Community Fund. They were all hard at it playing their instruments and singing away ready to showcase what they had learnt. Big smiles and very enthusiastic.
The hard work that Rebecca has put in is amazing.
Cant wait for the big show on 21st August. 🥁 🎸 🎼 🎤 🎹

If you are attending then please wear comfy clothes (that you don't mind getting dirty as we are tie dying today!) and a packed lunch. Snacks and drinks will be provided all day and all instruments are provided
