Just a reminder for all new students starting with us in September and returning students. We will be running a preloved uniform sale on the first day of term on a first come first served basis. We have a limited stock of used clean overalls for £5.00, used steel toe capped boots or wellingtons for £3.00 in a range of sizes. We have a small number of brand new overalls for £10.00. These can be paid for in cash or card at the reception desk.

A rare job opportunity has come up to join our Keeper Team as a Full Time Animal Instructor Keeper.

You will work with a wide range of species from farm livestock to reptiles/invertebrates, small mammals, avian, aquatics and exotics.

You will be expected to teach students in practical sessions and carry out practical assessments

Must be at least Level 3 Animal Management qualified (degree in relevant animal sector is desired) and have vast experience working in the industry with a range of species. Applicants without the desired qualifications may be considered if evidence of vast industry experience & knowledge of the sector is provided

Please note that this role includes working weekends

Yesterday we celebrated our students achievements over the academic year and ended with a year end celebratory party, in a carnival theme, with games, music and rodeo bull. L1 and L3 540 equines enjoying the sunshine out in the wonderful outdoor arena at Stainsby Grange Equestrian Centre this week. L3 540 equine also enjoyed their fun clear round jumping and games yesterday, finished off with a cool down little hack out, dodging the rain showers. 🐎👏🐎👏 What a way to study.
