We are delighted to invite you to a Wheelchair Tennis Festival (Open Session) taking place on Saturday 12 September, 10:00am to 12:00pm in Swansea.

This fun and inclusive come-and-try event is open to everyone and will feature a special visit from Judy Murray, renowned tennis coach and mother of Andy Murray.

Whether you're new to wheelchair tennis or simply interested in giving it a go, we'd love to see you there.

Lots of tears in G6 today. Our boys have blossomed and are ready to spread their wings in their big‑boys’ classes next year. A class who has touched our hearts just as much as they’ve tested our nerves, in more ways than you can imagine.

We are so proud of every single one of you. You lively, loveable little superstars have filled our days with chaos, joy and magic.

Wishing you all the very best in your new classes. Go forth and conquer, you amazing little superstars.

What a fantastic performance from Rio at Clwb Crown's open mic yesterday! 🎶🎤 He took to the stage with confidence and impressed everyone. We are incredibly proud of all the hard work and bravery he showed. Well done, Rio!

🌞🏅 Our Seniors Sports Day was a fantastic celebration of teamwork, determination, and fun! 🏅🌞
It was wonderful to see our pupils taking part in a range of activities, encouraging one another, and giving their best throughout the day.
A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us and helped make the day so special.

🏅 What an incredible weekend of sportsmanship and achievement for Greenfield! 🏅

Congratulations to Caz and Fallon on winning gold at the Special Olympics Bowls Tournament and to David and his partner, Shannon, on achieving a fantastic silver medal.

We are incredibly proud of your dedication, teamwork and outstanding achievements. These are memories that will last a lifetime.

A huge thank you to Kay Cotter and everyone at Merthyr Tydfil Indoor Bowls Club for their expert coaching and ongoing support for our trio. Also thank you to our families for their commitment to supporting the boys on their amazing journey.

The School Essentials Grant is open now and supports families with children in reception to year 11 on lower incomes and who get certain benefits.
The link below to the Welsh Government website was updated yesterday

https://www.gov.wales/eligible-families-can-sign-get-help-uniform-costs-and-get-extra-funding-their-school

Even if a learner is receiving Universal Primary Free School Meals, families will still need to check eligibility to access the School Essentials Grant.

Families could be eligible for between £125 to £200 per learner for support with school uniform costs, classroom essentials like pens and bags and to help pay for clothing for enrichment activities.
