The Judge decided to award this, as although you were nervous, you carried on and listened to what was suggested and can now start to put it all into practice at future shows. Well done. Remember 'Everyone has to start somewhere!!…

CHRC/TFSS SHOW SUMMARY - Saturday 6th June 2026
Firstly, I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Simon Green for getting up at the crack of dawn this morning, and topping the entire show field. It's amazing how much the grass had shot up over the past week, but the ground is looking super. A tad more rain (sorry folks!!) and it will be good to accept the roller.
I'm fairly sure that the initial rain overnight put a lot of people off, however those that did attend enjoyed the dry, apart from the rather sudden 5 minute downpour prior to lunchtime. Congratulations to all our Competitors for all your various wins today including several whom were lucky enough to meet the standard required in order to qualify for The Friendly Showing Society Championship to be held later in September at Solihull Riding Club. Special thanks go to our Judge for the day - Lisa Randall.
The Horsemanship/Sportsmanship award given for today will be announced in due course.
The next show in the CHRC Planner is scheduled for Sunday 21st June 2026.

PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO CATERERS IN ATTENDANCE FOR THIS SHOW. There will however be Canned Pop, Bottled Water, some cakes, sausage rolls and chocolate to purchase from the Entries Box.
We have NO running water so please bring your own and keep you and the horses hydrated and protected in the various conditions
**NB** - In View of current Equine Influenza information, PLEASE PRESENT PASSPORTS FOR CHECKING PRIOR TO UNLOADING YOUR HORSES.

The Judges decided to award this, as you showed confidence. You listened to what was suggested, took it all onboard and put it into action during the next class you entered. If the rains, hadn't arrived when they did you would have excelled even further
Show Jumping Ring - LEILA HOWLE
You really persevered with your pony, staying calm and positive after a little miscommunication.
Fun Ring - GRACIE JEFFERIES
Awarded for doing her very first handy pony and overcoming huge nerves.

This award has been given to a person that competed successfully but whom has also given encouragement to New Members at the show today.

Showing Ring - LILY LANDER
After a slight mishap which lead to a holdup in proceedings on the day, the combination continued on a better footing and came away to win some of our lovely rosettes.
Show Jumping Ring - SKYLAR EDWARDS
The judge on the day awarded this for the pure determination that this combination had for each other and for the rider praising her pony regularly.
Fun Ring - ISLA REAY-MUTCHELL
This was awarded due to the increased confidence shown throughout the day whilst competing with different ponies that the handler wasn't used to.
