This week, Gruffalo Class blew us away with their fantastic effort in the Phonics Screening Check! To celebrate, we have had a party this afternoon in the classroom, with delicious treats, party games and a movie!

Braving the rain, we have made fantastic progress in re-installing the pond! As you can see it has already gone through an amazing transformation. This term, Gruffalo class have been preparing to make fruit smoothies in their DT lessons. We have learnt about what a fruit is, where they come from, and how to prepare them. Today, we used our recipes to create our own smoothies! They were delicious!
This morning, Gruffalo Class and Elmer Class had an exciting surprise! We were visited by the Astrodome! Inside, we learnt all about the stars and planets in our Solar System, and even pretended to be real astronauts! We had a fantastic time!

Year 3 have had a very busy week this week as they also headed off to Kent Life! They had lots of fun taking part in the Roman themed day where they made some brilliant Roman amulets and even got to try out armour!

Cleaner Facilities at Culverstone Green Primary School, Gravesend The hours of work would be from 6.00am to 8.30am, Monday to Friday, although we can be flexible and will consider afternoon/evening hours too.
This term, Gruffalo Class have been making sculptures, using paper, in their Art lessons. The final piece was a whole-class creation - meet "Rex" the spider! We used lots of newspaper to create him and were very excited to come in this morning seeing him hanging from the ceiling!
