We look forward to welcoming our children and young people back to school on Tuesday, 6th January. Please note that Monday, 5th January is a TD Day and the school will be closed to all children and young people.

🌟 End of Term Reflections at Melksham House School! 🌟

As we reach the end of our very first term at Melksham House School, we’re taking a moment to celebrate everything we’ve achieved together 🎉. Opening a new school is no small task, and we couldn’t be prouder of how our pupils, staff, and families have embraced this exciting new chapter 💙

Term 1 has been filled with growth, resilience, and community spirit 🌱. Our pupils have settled in brilliantly—building confidence, forming friendships, and re-engaging with learning. Huge thanks to our incredible staff for creating a safe, nurturing environment where every young person can belong, thrive, and achieve 🙌

Looking ahead to Term 2, we’re excited to keep building on this strong foundation—with a focus on emotional wellbeing, social connection, and academic progress. Plus, we can’t wait for a visit from Kris – Tropical Discovery Workshops 🐍🌴

We are delighted to have opened our doors and welcomed our pupils to Melksham House School.

We had an amazing first day with 100% attendance, getting to know each other and exploring the new building.

Day one is always the most tricky but our pupils have transitioned perfectly today - well done everyone! 💙
