We've all had a lovely few days keeping cool in the heat wave. We especially enjoyed getting all the nursery staff very wet.

In celebration of St George's day we had a traditional tea party with sandwiches and our homemade scones.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

What a busy February the Buttercup children have had. Jumping in muddy puddles, flying kites, making balloon rockets, mark making in the woods, walks to the garden centre, Choosing books from the mobile library, making bird feeders, cooking bread rolls for tea, valentines shortbread, peppermint creams, chocolate strawberries and pancakes. We even managed to squeeze in a wedding.

Daisychain Day Nursery Melksham are seeking full time fun loving, enthusiastic, dedicated qualified Early Years Practitioners.
The successful candidates will join our well-established ever-expanding nursery, with it’s friendly, professional team that ensures each and every child that attends Daisychain receives the highest quality care with rich and stimulating play experiences.

Key Responsibilities
• Create a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment for all children.
• Plan and Implement age-appropriate learning experiences that promotes development with in the seven areas of learning that is centred around the children’s interests.
• Observe and assess key children’s progress keeping their individual online journals accurate and up to date.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, colleagues and other professionals.
• Collaborate with all team members to ensure a supportive and cohesive working environment.
• Enjoys being outdoors, isn’t afraid to get messy and above all have fun.
