Through realistic scenarios, live actors and practical skills stations, candidates build their knowledge, confidence and clinical decision-making skills to manage increasingly complex paediatric trauma.

A fantastic week welcoming medics from across the British Army Royal Navy and Royal Air Force for combined CPD focused on rescue trauma, casualty care and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC).

Using immersive simulation and realistic scenarios, the week supported military medics in developing skills for their work in civilian settings as paramedics.

What a great bunch - full of enthusiasm, energy and professionalism, and a true credit to the Armed Forces community.

A huge thank you to our instructors, who brought a wealth of military medic experience to support and challenge the candidates throughout the week.

🏔️ Could MTACC be returning to Zermatt in 2027?

We’re exploring the possibility of running Mountain Trauma & Critical Care (MTACC) on 7-8th February 2027, ahead of The Big Sick conference.

The proposed two-day course would combine expert lectures and masterclasses with a full day of scenarios. There may also be an opportunity for a unique overnight stay between the two days.

With The Big Sick taking place from 9-12th February 2027, it could be a chance to attend both during one trip to Zermatt.

Last week, we headed to The Emergency Services Show 2026 - because apparently exhibiting at and running an ATACC course in the same week wasn’t enough! We must be mad… 😂

We were proud to showcase our Resuscitator Series, exploring how we can improve cardiac arrest outcomes for every individual patient, optimise resuscitation within current guidelines and work towards true mastery of life support - before looking beyond it.

Visitors really embraced the demonstrations, showing genuine interest and getting involved even when the techniques extended beyond their usual scope of practice. 👏

A huge thank you to Laerdal Medical for the partnership, Ortus Technologies, SOS Oxygen, PAX-Bags, BVS Group & Stryker for providing the equipment that helped bring our demonstrations to life. Your support was greatly appreciated.

Finally, thank you to everyone who stopped by, took part and challenged us with some brilliant questions. It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm for advancing resuscitation practice and improving patient outcomes.

ATACC 2026 - THAT’S A WRAP! 🎬

And just like that, our final ATACC of 2026 has come to a close.

Our candidates and faculty are now making their way home - tired, hopefully for all the right reasons, and taking with them new knowledge, skills, experiences and memories from another incredible ATACC.

A huge thank you to everyone who makes ATACC possible behind the scenes - our caterers, site team, actors, SFX/LAB team, Operations team and, of course, our incredible ATACC Faculty.

ATACC is far more than the people you see on the course. It takes a huge team, working together, to create the environment, scenarios and learning experience our candidates receive.
