All of our members are “Inspiring Women” in one way or another. However I think we would all agree that one of our members is truly inspirational. Following a multi organ transplant Susie Konowalik now takes part in the transplant games at home and abroad. At the British Transplant games this weekend she was competing in the table tennis, sprinting and the 3k race winning a silver medal in a personal best time. She was cheered on by 2 consultants from the Royal Derby hospital.

Another night of rounder’s fun on Perks Park 🥎 We may not be at the same standard as the athletes competing in the Commonwealth Games but we definitely know how to enjoy ourselves 😊 Thanks to Julie for organising us and Jenny for keeping the score.
