It's finally happening! And I'm BUZZING 🥳

Ever since I launched Tap Step-in' with Sophie, I have been asked on many occasions "do you have classes in Sheffield?"

Well, your wish is my command 🪄

And made even more special by the fact that I get to teach them at Shimmy School 's new home, which you can also find me teaching belly dance at from time to time 💜

7.15 - 8pm

Tap Step-up
Tap dance experience required, 18+
8.15 - 9pm

There are many reasons to include call and response exercises in your dance classes - I intentionally use it in lots of different shapes and forms, no matter the dance style I'm teaching or setting that I'm in ✨

When I went into Card Factory to get the balloons earlier today, the retail assistant helping me asked "what are you celebrating? "

I proudly shared "it's the first birthday of my business!" 😍

On Friday 6th June 2025, I ran my first ever Tap Step-in’ with Sophie classes. I was full of nerves and dread that no-one would show up.

I did it anyway, and people showed up.

What a journey it’s been!

I’ve loved bringing Tap Step-in’ with Sophie to life over the past year and I am SO excited for what the future has in store 🤩

If you have a creative itch - a dream that has for so long existed in your imagination - please scratch it. The world needs passionate, authentic, HUMAN artists and art now more than ever 🙏

Through many years of teaching (and being a student!), I have learnt the importance of offering multiple ways to understand steps and sequences.

We all resonate with different explanations; that help something new to "click"! 👌

Over the moon to announce that we are performing at Bakewell Day of Dance for the very first time! 🤩⛰️

We will be showcasing routines from both Fit4Tap and Tap Step-up classes; come along and cheer us on - it’s totally free!

The day will be filled with many peformances and events displaying a range of dance styles; supporting local classes and dance schools 🫶
